How does the welding rotator work?

The design of the welding rotator

Thick metal plates are used to create the foundation base of the welding rotator. The bearings in the wheels are rated to withstand the additional pressures involved in larger inventories. Some models will be equipped with an electric motor that rotates the buttstock at a set speed. This helps increase the output and ease of use of the work.

How to use the welding rotator
For example, we use a TIG welder to connect the threaded flange to the plate. First, perform some spot welding at key locations to hold the material in place. Then, position the welding torch and filler wire in place to complete the rest of the work. At this point, start the welding rotator, the spray gun is positioned, and when the arc and temperature suitable for the operation are reached, the filler wire is sent to the rotation operation. A set of procedures will complete the entire process. It may be necessary to allow the welding gun to stay on the material for a longer period of time without filler wire for a firm weld.
