The welding rotator produced by Weld-Max are divided into conventional welding rotator and self-adjusting welding rotator, which is also called conventional turning roll and self-aligning turning roll.
Today we are going to introduce the self-aligning welding rotator.
The self-aligning welding rotator has two sets of main and auxiliary machines as a set, the drive and the idler. The self-adjusting series of active and passive frames have four rollers in each group. The rollers are made of a structure with an inner steel core and a polyurethane wrapper. Durable, no vibration during use.
The operation of the active roller frame is driven by a speed-adjusting motor through two worm gearboxes synchronously, and a speed-adjusting controller is used to achieve stepless speed change. The mechanical transmission has low noise, stable rotation of the workpiece, and the linear speed of the rotation of the workpiece is 5-70m/h (infinitely variable speed). Each group of clamp brackets can be automatically adjusted within a certain range of workpiece diameter. At the minimum diameter, the lower wheels of each group of clamp brackets are on the same horizontal line (roller racks of different tonnages have different working ranges). The working range of the roller frame of each tonnage shall not exceed the maximum diameter size.
The performance characteristics of the self-aligning welding rotator:
1. The standard self-aligning welding rotator is composed of one active frame and one driven frame. It can also be one master and multiple slaves according to user requirements, which is easy to use and has strong adaptability.
2. According to the diameter of the workpiece, the swing angle of the roller set can be automatically adjusted without manual adjustment.
3. The four rollers of the driving frame are all driven by gears to achieve four-wheel drive.
4. Polyurethane coated rollers have high friction, long life and strong bearing capacity.
5. It adopts AC frequency converter stepless speed regulation, large starting torque, wide speed regulation range, stable operation, and multiple protection functions such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overload, and overheating.
6. The start, stop, forward and reverse, reverse rotation and speed adjustment of the active roller frame are all operated on the remote control box.
7. There is a linkage interface, which can realize linkage control with the operating machine to form a welding center.
Weld-Max can also produce Motorized Moving self-aligning welding rotator. The pipeline can be adjusted by itself, and the test pipeline is aligned with the pipeline, which is convenient for welding. It can reduce the walking of the staff and greatly improve the production efficiency.

And the welding rotator can also be used with the welding manipulator to weld the inner ring seam and the outer ring seam.
