Welding turning table, also known as turntable, refers to a welding equipment that has a rotatable table surface to replace and clamp workpieces and realize rotation and indexing positioning. It is installed horizontally on the surface of the main machine’s worktable, and uses the main machine’s control system or a special matching control system to complete the indexing rotation movement of various processing coordinated with the main machine during work.
The welding turning table has a center hole for positioning the workpiece and a T-slot for clamping. There is a worm-worm gear pair between the table and the base. The speed ratio is 90:1 or 120:1 for transmission and indexing. The end of the worm extending from the base is equipped with a subdivision dial and a hand wheel. The table can be driven by turning the hand wheel, and the rotation angle can be read from the scale (in degrees) on the outer circumference of the table and the subdivision dial. The indexing accuracy is generally ±60″. The extension end of the worm of the horizontal turntable can also be connected to the machine tool transmission with a coupling to achieve power drive.
This FTP-30 type welding turning table is customized by Australian customers. The faceplate size is 1,400mm, equipped with a 1.1 kw motor, which can carry a workpiece up to 3,000kg. And 6 T-slots are designed according to customer requirements.
